We are so glad you are here! Thank you for your interest in learning more
about Rett Syndrome, a devastating neurological disorder that only affects girls.

We need your girls to help our girls! We hope to educate girls all over about this
disorder that is afflicting a little girl every five hours. By showing their support
through an awareness activity, they are sending their "Girl Power!" to our girls.
Here is how your troop can participate in "Dress Up 2 Cure":
You may choose from one of these options or create something on your own! All
of the activities are centered around April Fool's Day, but this is not mandatory.
If a better time near that date works better for your group, go for it!
Once you choose your activity, please click here to register your troop!
With any of the options, your troop will get its own web page to show off pictures
of your event. You will also receive an information sheet about Rett Syndrome to
share with the girls.
Option 1:
Organize a Dress Up 2 Cure Day at your local schools! click here for more info!
Option 2:
Get the girls together for a "dress-up" party, then go out somewhere and show
off your get ups....be fancy, be silly, pick a theme.....it's your choice! Plan a trip
to a local museum or park!
Option 3:
Learn a new craft like jewelry making or hat design!
Option 4:
Tea Party time! Bring a favorite stuffed animal or doll and have a tea party
complete with homemade goodies that each girl brings to the party.
Option 5:
Dance Party! Order enough Girl Power CDs (our fund raising CD) to send home
with each girl. Have the girls bring their favorite music to the party and learn
some new dance moves! There might even be a dance teacher in your area
who would donate her time to teach the girls a dance they will love to do
together over and over and remember forever!
Option 6:
Create your own! Be sure to let us share your ideas!
