Brooklyn is a truly amazing little girl (like ALL our Rett
Angels!) She was diagnosed last May just one week after
her second birthday. We have had a tough few months
adjusting to this life with Rett but Brooklyn reminds us
every day how loving, strong, and very smart she really is!
Rett Syndrome has taken away her ability to crawl, walk,
talk, and use her hands but that has not stopped her
ability to communicate. She uses eye gaze and switches to
express her needs to us and she works very hard
everyday on walking.
She loves spending her days with Grammy doing her
therapy program at home. Her cousin Jackson is her very
best friend. She also enjoys her weekly Circle Time at our
public library and her ‘Mommy and Me’ music class. Her
truly favorite thing is The Wiggles!
